In addition to answering these questions, it is also important to decide on the order of importance of these elements. This will assist you in handling compromises, which I can bet will surely come! Some of the major wedding elements not in order of importance are:

  • The wedding rings
  • Stationery – these include invitation cards, thank you notes, cake boxes, programs, etc.
  • Flowers and Decor – decoration for the reception, brides' bouquets, cake table

3. Do you want the ceremony/reception to be indoor or outdoor? How do you plan to manage the weather, conveniences and security, if you choose an outdoor event?

4. What is the maximum distance you can tolerate between the ceremony grounds to the reception venue?

5. Do you want a live band or a DJ? What kind of music do you want: traditional, pop or religious.

6. What kind of train do you desire? What is the maximum size of the train? Does the number of bridesmaids have to equal the number of groomsmen?

7. What is the maximum/minimum number of guests you want?

8. Do you want dancing? Do you want to be given money while you dance (sprayed)?

9. What kind of Cake do you want?

10. What is the maximum you want to pay for the wedding? What budget do you have in mind?
